Michael Goodier is a filmmaker and editor with over a decade of experience working on feature documentaries. He grew up in Rhode Island and relocated to the San Francisco bay area in 2002. Currently, he works as a Senior Editor for Vox Creative, where he edited The Beauty of Blackness, a 2022 Tribeca X feature film award winner, and The Debater, winner of the 2021 Brand Film Award. He was an additional editor on the Peabody Award-winning documentary Audrie & Daisy and an assistant editor on The Waiting Room, winner of the 2013 Independent Spirit Truer Than Fiction Award. Michael’s latest film, Embodied, directed by Isabel Bethencourt, will premiere at Tribeca as part of the 2023 Tribeca X Awards. I received an MFA from the California College of the Arts in 2008.
