About Michael

Michael Goodier is a filmmaker and editor with over a decade of experience working on feature documentaries. Currently, he works as a Senior Editor for Vox Creative, where he edited Soccer Meets America (2025) streaming on the Roku Channel, Sensory Overload (2025), Embodied (2023), The Beauty of Blackness, a 2022 Tribeca X feature film award winner, and The Debater, winner of the 2021 Brand Film Award.

He was an additional editor on the Peabody Award-winning documentary Audrie & Daisy and an assistant editor on The Waiting Room, winner of the 2013 Independent Spirit Truer Than Fiction Award.

Michael received an MFA from the California College of the Arts in 2008 and was a Sundance Documentary Edit Lab Assistant Editor Fellow in 2014.
